Tiny Tots and Preschool Combo
An intro to dance, our toddler through preschoolers concentrate on developing social, locomotor and non-locomotor skills as well as rhythm, musicality, and balance. Creative Movement students are also introduced to beginning tap skills.
Primary Combo
Students will focus on building a solid foundation of proper technique and terminology in their two chosen disciplines (ballet and tap or jazz and tap)
Lyrical Jazz
Essentially a fusion of Jazz, Modern and Ballet techniques. Emphasis is placed on balance, flexibility, extension, and expressiveness.
Jazz Funk / Hip Hop Fusion
Age Appropriate classes touch on various contemporary styles of such as Hip Hop and Commercial/Video yet remain grounded in traditional Jazz technique.
Tap
From traditional Broadway styles to more rhythm-based techniques, this class will focus on honing the students sense of timing, musicality, and precision.
Ballet
Considered the foundation of dance, classical ballet technique combines barre and center work to develop and reinforce strength, placement, and carriage. Students will work toward becoming proficient in proper terminology, execution, expression of movement, and will gain a larger understanding of the similarities and differences of various methods in use professionally today.
Pointe is offered to students at the directors’ determination.
